Rehearsals are going well. We have been in the studio rehearsing for about a week and a half now. Still fine tuning the set…. I think the fans will appreciate the song selection. The set will run about an hour and a half and will feature a good combo of both old and new tunes.
We have been having a great time hanging together and catching up. For me it’s like a homecoming. Just a little over a week now until 9/11 in Boston. We are pumped and can’t wait!
Until then,
TG

Robert, Oz, and myself flew into Boston on Sunday. Good flights all the way around. Got a rental car and made our way to the hotel which will be our home for the next 19 days.
We met up with clothing designer Ray Brown who flew in from London to get fitted for our new stage clothes. NO SPANDEX!! These costumes look killer. Can’t wait to hit the stage in them. Stryper is going to look really cool this tour.
Had a late dinner and turned in.

Got up and had breakfast, Michael met up with us and we went to the rehearsal hall to set up. Spent all day setting up our gear and waited on deliveries to arrive. Oz and myself went over a few tunes.
A good friend of ours accepted Christ while we were setting up. We were blown away. All I can say is that God is doing a great work here. It’s like a new beginning. We sense the heavy presence of the Holy Spirit. Can’t wait to see what is instore for the rest of this tour if this is just the first day.
Covet your prayers,
TG
That’s right…you asked for it…you got it! The NEW Stryper.com is now online.
Exclusive Sound Check
Meet And Greet Experience
For the first time ever, Stryper opens up sound check to the public. Sound checks have always been completely private in the past, but on this tour, 50 people in each market will have the chance to witness a Stryper sound check first hand, hang with the band, take pictures, and get autographs – not to mention, a free copy of Murder by Pride!
You get:
* Official Sound Check Meet-n-Greet Pass.
* Admission into sound check where you watch first hand as the band and crew work on sound mixes, songs, and set up for the evening’s show.
* Meet-And-Greet time with the band after sound check. Get your picture taken with the band, using your own camera.
* A Murder By Pride CD (We realize you hopefully already own one or more copies, but this is one for you to give to a friend, or get autographed).
* After the sound check you will be able to take photographs, talk with the band, and get autographs in a “hang out” type environment.
* Opportunity to bring 1 other Stryper item from home to have autographed, in addition to the Murder by Pride CD you will receive.
Additional Information:
Stryper will not be doing after-show meet-n-greets. This is the only opportunity to meet Stryper on the 25th Anniversary Tour.
The Sound Check Meet And Greet Experience is an “Add On” meaning you still need to purchase tickets to the show. You are responsible for purchasing the show ticket from the venue or ticket outlet in advance of the show.
