We just finished a four day run. We are all pretty tired out… the flu has been going around the bus and we have all had it. We have had a few folks get pretty angry because we havent been able to sign autographs after the shows. We will try to get to you all when we feel better.
The shows have been going great in spite of what you may be reading here on the forum by a few hecklers and whiners. I sometimes feel like Rodney King and ask “can’t we all just get along?”
Fact is – The fans are excited to see us, and the meet and greets have been a huge success. We played House Of Blues in Chicago last night and it appeared to be a sell out.
I am amazed at the distance some fans have traveled just to see us. We have had people flying in from all over the world… New Zealand, Australia, Japan, South America, and Europe, as well as travel from across America. It is truely humbling.
Stryper has some of the greatest and most dedicated fans in the world!! Thank You !!!!
We as a band are having the greatest time. It feels like we are just starting out for the first time. Morale is high and it shows when we play live.
“Whip It” hit theaters everywhere on October 2nd. For those of you that didn’t know, Ellen Page’s character, Bliss Cavender, wears a Stryper t-shirt in several scenes in the film, and even talks about the shirt a few times.
If you have seen the film, leave your reviews here.
If you haven’t seen “Whip It”, throw on your favorite Stryper shirt, and head on out to the theater. Wearing your Stryper shirt to the theater for this film is a great way to strike up a conversation, and fill people in on the band, MBP, the Tour, etc. Then come back here and post your reviews.
ALSO, make sure you post your reviews at other online movie sites as well, such as imbd.com or movies.yahoo.com , and let them know how cool it was to have the Stryper shirt featured in the film!

WOW WHAT A SHOW!!! NYC WAS A BLAST!!
It’s amazing how much the audience reaction contributes to a concert. Last night was the best show of the tour so far. The crowd was awesome! And the band played better because of it. Thank you NYC.
We finally have our backline finished. The Yellow and Black stripes have been added to the guitar and bass cabinets, completing the Stryper “look” we expect to see. Thanks goes out to Rick and John from the crew for spending their day off in the paint booth.
Sorry the promotor pulled out of the Poughkeepsie show. We may make up the date later on in the tour.
We are off to Asburey Park for the Stone Pony show tonight.
Tonights show in Poughkeepsie, NY has been cancelled, but two other shows were just announced. On October 18th, Stryper will be at House Of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC, then comes the long awaited announcement of the bands return to Puerto Rico, December 5th at the Tito Puente Ampitheater.
Below is a new clip from the upcoming film featuring actress Ellen Pages character wearing her Stryper shirt. There are also 4 other clips available here.
